Hey friends,

My name is Krys and I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of our dear friend and chosen family CC (Cat). CC was feeling under the weather as of November 12th 2025 and what could have been a regular shmegular common cold quickly escalated into complications with her asthma.

CC was supposed to board a flight on November 14th to start making her way back to Toronto but the complications took hold and she was rushed to an ER in Hollywood. The two photos I was asked to share were taken within three days of each other. She is stable and cracking jokes but we're not out of the woods so she has been admitted and will be staying in the hospital for an indefinite amount of time.

CC is a community builder. It is built into the fabric of her very being and that is why we all love her so much. She needs her community now more than ever to cover what can only be expected to be astronomical medical bills on behalf of the US healthcare system. I know that times are insurmountably tough for us all but if you can forgo a coffee for a day or you have an extra $10-$20 to donate, every little bit counts and she will be so appreciative.
