Nikki & Drew Abejon: House Fire
Donation protected
As many of you may have already heard, Nikki and Drew's garage caught fire late Thursday night. The flames were aggressive and spread quickly, reaching their house before firefighters were able to react. The fire burnt down their garage completely, and took most of their house as well.
What's most important is that Nikki, Drew, and their pups, Tessa and Tucker, were able to escape the flames with minor injuries. After rescuing their dogs, Nikki and Drew ran to every neighbor's house, pounding on their doors to ensure they were able to evacuate as well. By the Grace of God, and the quick thinking of Nikki and Drew, no one was hurt.
While able to evacuate themselves, Nikki and Drew have lost almost all of their personal belongings. They were able to fill only four small containers of salvageable belongings today.
If you are reading this, chances are you know Nikki and Drew and the kind of people they are. They are the most giving, kind-hearted, thoughtful people I have ever known. They are the first to offer help, while always refusing it for themselves. Nikki and Drew live their lives with the idea of always paying it forward. Now is a time where family and friends can help them in ways they have always helped others.
Nikki and Drew are on a long road of recovery, and will need to replace many of their belongings, such as clothes and furniture, as well as repair damages caused by the fire. In addition, they will be out of their house for some time, needing funds to help place them in a temporary home. Any amount, small or large, will not only help Nikki and Drew tremendously, but will also be appreciated beyond words.
Please help raise funds by spreading the word and sharing this page with others. $1, $10, $100, $1,000...it doesn't matter. Any amount will help.
Thank you.
