Support Susan's Recovery Journey

For all those who love Susan and her family, we now have a simple but impactful way to express that love and to support the Bartlett family as they navigate Susan’s recovery.

For those who don’t know Susan’s story, In early November, she had a massive stroke while out walking her dog. After two major neurosurgeries, she spent nearly a month in the ICU. On December 3rd, she transitioned to a rehab facility in Austin to actively begin the recovery process, which is intensive and can be lengthy. Susan, her family and her doctors are hopeful for a full recovery and are seeking the best places and therapies to get her there. As you can imagine, there will be substantial costs associated with her recovery, and the insurance coverage for much of the therapy/rehab is unclear or lacking. In addition, we anticipate significant costs to prepare the Bartlett’s home to accommodate Susan’s needs once she comes home, which will be in a wheelchair to start, plus medical equipment needed at home, an in-home care team and many other things we probably haven’t even figured out she needs yet!

The prayers and support that so many have provided each and every day since her stroke are so critical, and Susan, Peter and the boys are forever grateful. Please continue to support them in this way as you are able.
