Hi everyone,
Beth and my luck with cars has yet to improve. At the beginning of last year we purchased a used car from Carmax, and after having our previous car practically fall apart on us we made sure to keep up with oil changes and maintenance since getting it. While Beth was driving to work, the car suddenly stopped accelerating. After getting it towed we found out that there was somehow 0 oil (despite the oil change not being behind) which caused the engine to seize, so it now has to be replaced.
Along with everyone else at this point, we definitely do not have the extra $6800 that we were quoted laying around, along with the cost of a rental car while our car is in the shop so that we can get to and from work (Beth’s job is entirely dependent on her having a car!) If you are able and willing to donate any amount towards these costs we would be SO grateful.
I will also be selling paintings made by my fur babies and I to help raise funds if you would be interested in checking that out!
