New York Art Show

Hi, my name is Jeffery Reid and I'm a portrait painter. I paint, 7 foot By 5 foot, oil on canvas portraits, of luminaries.

After 10 years of constant painting, in a Chicago store Front, 50 portraits of my favorite people from history, I decided to move to New York, to try to get into a gallery showing.

Instead of canvassing galleries with my portfolio I put the paintings on top of my van, and go to different neighborhoods and put them in front of, iconic galleries and museums In historical, neighborhoods

I'm asking friends, family, artists, and anyone who would be interested in helping me continue my struggle to get into a New York gallery, with my 50 portraits, of influential uplifting world-changing people .

After two years of rugged, rocky, roads, in New York streets, my 1992 ford van is now unsafe to operate legally.

I'm looking to buy a used, $7000, Spritzer van, so that I can no longer have to damage the paintings by putting them on top of the roof of the Ford.

I hope to, for third year, show my 50 portraits around town, so that I could get discovered, represented by a gallery, celebrated as an artist, emulate my creations of luminaries.

After obtaining residence in Manhattan, areas of prominence where I can show the 7 feet portraits, and a vending license. I'm sure my dreams will be fulfilled with a little help from some like-minded contributors

If anyone donates $20 or more, I will send them, one of my reproductions of the Portraits, scaling in at 11 x 17
