DeeDee is trying a new treatment for her Churg-Strauss Syndrome. The cost is $400 a week for four weeks. Here's what she has to say about the treatment:
"I'm going to do four weeks of treatment. Once a week for four weeks I will go in for an IV infusion. The hope is that the medicine will attach itself to my white blood cells and destroy them and reset my immune system so it isn't in overproduction of white blood cells and attacking itself. I was told to expect major fatigue for 3-5 days after each of the treatments, but I'm hoping it will be much less."
She is still paying off medical bills from the extensive treatments she has tried the past few years. Let's help her get through this one with no new expenses! We need her to focus on getting better!
