Piling medical bills
Donation protected
My daughter-in-law just suffered a stroke recently in Thailand. Her husband, my son, lives in Alaska and they are currently in the process of getting her over to the US to be together. Unfortunately, because of their current marital status, my son’s insurance is unlikely to cover any of the medical expenses for her surgeries and hospital stays, which will be high costs. Besides their ability to pay living costs along with modest savings that have been wiped out by these medical expenses already, they are currently struggling to pay her rising medical bills. Stress is likely a contributing factor, according to her doctors, for this stroke she has endured at such a young age, and so with an upcoming surgery, if we are able to lower her stress in the slightest, by reducing the weight of these medical costs, it would benefit her recovery quite a bit, on top of everything else. So we are humbly asking for any help for them to be able to pay for these costs for both financial reasons and to assist in her improving health and recovery. Any amount helps them immensely and is greatly appreciated. They are doing everything in their power to contribute to paying these costs as well. We thank you so much in advance for any assistance you can offer.
