Our best friend Carlo, isn't just our dog. He's been with us our whole lives. We grew up together since we were kids and since he was a baby. He's been there through everything, good days, bad days and everything in between. To me and my brother, Carlo is not "just a pet", he is our brother. He has always supported us on our toughest days, comforting us when we felt down and always showed love and loyalty to us.

Right now, Carlo is really sick and struggling to walk. Watching him go from running and greeting us with his tail waggling whenever we got home to seeing him just sit down somewhere and struggle to stand up just to smile at us and show excitement the best way he can, breaks our families heart.

We've taken Carlo to the vet, and he is currently unable to walk properly, or stand properly. He has also been passing blood in his urine, has partial paralysis in his tail, slowly losing reflexes in his back paws and the vets are still trying to determine exactly what is causing everything. And to find out a, MRI is needed which is very expensive. Right now, he is on antibiotics and anti inflammatory medication and under close care, but his condition is serious and requires further tests, treatment and possibly specialist care.

Me and my brother who had grown up with him since we were children love him more than anything in this world. We don't want to give up on him, and we don't want him to suffer either. We want to give him the best chance possible to walk again and live a happy life like he deserves.

Any help, no matter how small, would mean everything to us. It would go directly towards Carlo's medical care, treatment and recovery.
