Ferret Farm Rescue and Boarding Center
Donation protected
We’re always desperate for funds to carry on helping ferrets in need.
The pandemic saw the sanctuary brought to its knees and funds raised for new runs used on feeding and caring for all the ferrets that kept coming in and couldn’t get re homed due to lock down. With boarding shut down that income towards the rescue dried up too.
It will be a long time before we can recoup the full costs with no government help of any kind for small rescues.
The rescue of ferrets never stopped.
We saw a mass increase in breeding, strays and then ferrets no longer wanted or bucket loads of unwanted kits from people breeding to try to make money or because they didn’t know what they were doing. This is still a ongoing issue.
For the work of rescuing to continue any donations are really appreciated.
