The First Nation Church finished construction in 1960, The only Teepee shaped church in Canada. In 2014, a fire destroyed the rectory which lead to other major problems such as; deterioriation because of water infilteration and decay, and was built with second hand lumber. We have raised some of the funding, but the project is costly both in material and labor because of it's unique design. We were hoping to finish by this fall, and the work continues but we lack funding. The church is meaningful to the community culturally as well as a tourist attraction. and celebrations. I am working with various organizations, and I wish to thank the people who participated and donated to support our cause. All the funding goes towards the restoration project with the hope of celebrating our next Christmas in our church. we have not been able to use it for two years. I thank you in advance for your support.
