Help Save Bear — Urgent Surgery Needed to Save His Life

We’re reaching out with heavy hearts and hope in our hands. Bear, a sweet and loyal 12-year-old Shih Tzu, is fighting for his life — and time is running out.

Bear has been a cherished member of our friend’s family since he was a puppy- He’s not just a dog — he’s family.

Recently, Bear became extremely sick, and they thought they were going to lose him. After finally finding an emergency vet who would see him and rushing him there, they finally have answers: Bear has bladder stones and needs emergency surgery to survive. The good news is that he’s otherwise healthy and has so much life and love left to give — but only if we can get him the surgery within the next day or two.

The cost of the procedure is more than the family can afford on such short notice. They are applying for every possible grant and financial aid program — but those take time Bear just doesn’t have.
