Our beautiful mom, Kathleen Longwell, had heart surgery in March of 2018 to repair and replace failing valves. This was supposed to be a routine surgery, but her body was never fully able to recover. After a courageous battle following the surgery, she went into multi organ failure and has been moved to Hospice for comfort care.  She is now on the 8th floor at Mercy Medical Center. We can't even begin to fathom the medical costs she has accrued during this ordeal, and the unexpected cost of her funeral. People have continually asked us how they may help. This is a loving way to support our parents, especially our father who lives in a nursing home and was her husband of 51 years. Any amount or donation is greatly appreciated.
