Hey everyone,
For anyone that knows our dad, Paul, knows that he has been through so many tough obstacles in his life. Cancer being one of the biggest and longest battles he has had to face.
Since 2002 cancer has affected his health and he has continued to fight it and show it who’s boss!
However, in more recent times Dad has been dealt yet another blow - his cancer is back, and this time the outlook isn’t positive. He is currently fighting a very strong fight and has done so for the last 8months.
The reason for this GoFundMe initiative is to ease some of the financial burden that this horrible disease has placed on our Mum and Dad over the last 16years.
Cancer doesn’t discriminate, it’s a horrible disease that has caused our family so much pain, we truely hope that there is a god and that there is an end to this disease. It is a disease that challenges the best of us.
Any funds from this initiative would be used to allow our family to spend quality time with our dad while we can while relieving some of the financial pressures. The funds raised will go directly towards dads treatment costs and will assist in paying for expenses like medicine, scans, drs appointments or any other medical costs.
Myself, Adam and Scott have organised this without my mum or dad knowing. The reason for this is because we wish to not cause any further stress or concerns for each of them during this truely difficult time.
