Michelle Schwerdtfeger Stage IV Breast Cancer MBC

Michelle (Half-Pint) Schwerdtfeger, is diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer -  Just 2 days before her 40th birthday  in 2018. It started with a lump in her breast, which then turned into finding a second lump in the same breast. A PET/CT scan showed areas on her Sternum and T4 spine that were suspicious for "Metastatic Disease."This diagnosis is NOT curable but "treatable" for life. A biopsy on her spine came back positive for cancer as well(T4). She has been told she is "incurable", she has a power port  implanted in her chest to receive chemo treatments. Although she is incurable, they are hoping to slow the progression. Her treatment will NEVER END. Her 1st treatment was on July 6th,that day was also,her oldest daughter's 17th birthday. She will , be receiving her 3rd treatment on July 20th 2018.Most people with this diagnosis Live Up To 5 years. In some cases, longer... Her treatments were weekly, and at this point she needs to drive 1.5 hours to Sioux Falls, SD to get her chemo and other appointments done. Although, she is doing great with treatments and feeling good, it's getting hard to keep missing work due to surgeries and chemo treatments. Any donations, large or small would be so greatly appreciated in this time of need.  Michelle and Michael also have another daughter that is 10 years old. Michael has also, having to miss work to help her go to Sioux Falls for appointments.  Medical bills are coming in and even with insurance  there are deductibles and "Out of pocket" expenses which a still a ton to pay. She is now actively having treatments every 3 weeks. Please help my sister. She's a mom, a wife, a daughter, and a metastatic breast cancer "thriver" & "Lifer".
