This is Zuri born 11/9/23. Before she was born we found out he had bilateral cleft lip and palate. It was a lot to try to prepare ourselves for a baby with cleft lip and palate and never having any experience with this medical condition there was really no way of preparing ourselves. This baby has came a VERY long way and still has a long way to go. Zuri started taping at 4 days old, the NAM caused sores in her mouth and bleeds often. Her surgery for cleft repair will be approaching soon! I just found out our insurance Medicaid doesn’t cover some supplies. Due to this being so unexpected we are having a bit of a time. My current job does not pay for FMLA or cover any medical expenses. I feel it was best to make this go fund me. No contributions is too small. We appreciate it!
