My lifelong friends are going through the biggest storm of their lives. In April, after some testing, Jason and Stephanie received news that Jason has cancer. They found spots in his head and chest. He completed radiation on the head and started chemo for the chest. About a month ago, they repeated the head scan and everything looked great. Clean scan. He finished chemo and things were looking hopeful.
Fast forward to Labor Day. Jason seemed off, so Stephanie was taking him to the ER. He had a grand mal seizure in the car, so she had to pull over, call 911, and he was then transported by ambulance. They ruled stroke out pretty quickly, and after several days of not being able to get a good scan of his head, they finally got one on Thursday. The news was not good. In just 4 weeks, the cancer has returned to his head with a large quantity of spots (I believe there are roughly 50). The spots in the chest continue to shrink, which has doctors baffled as to why the head changed so drastically so quickly. The plan is to do targeted radiation on the head next week.
Jason has obviously not been working, and Stephanie isn't currently working as she needs to be with her husband at this time. Stephanie and Jason could use any type of support you can give. They are looking at a long and difficult road, and I would love for them to have a little peace of mind financially. Anything you can give would be so appreciated and helpful. If you are unable to give, please consider sharing the fundraiser and praying for them. Jason and Stephanie have two sons, Alex(26) & Cameron(21) who could also use your prayers. This is such a difficult journey for their entire family.
