Hi everyone! I'm Amanda Graham, Kenny Kaat's finace. In October of 2016 he as diagnosed with Laryngeal Cancer.  After the PET scan it was determined to be stage 3. Meaning the cancer cells had reached half of a lymphnode at the time of the test.  Because it was stage 3 the doctors hit him with everything they had at their fingertips. They did an amazing job. Kenny had 5 rounds of chemo, 2 of them being very large doses and 3 of them being what the doctors considered to be standard. He also had 35 rounds of radiation that as most of you know took its toll on him. By the end of treatments Kenny went from 208lbs to 163lbs just because eating has been so painful. But guys, I have never seen anyone fight like this.  He is by far the strongest willed person I have ever met. 
Now, the bills start coming in. He recieved treatment at the VA center here in Memphis but they only cover parts of the treatment. Some visits were covered 100%, some 80% and others 50%. But when were talking daily radiation those small percentages tend to add up. Now that he is in the recovery phase we wait 3 months for the PET scan to see if all this worked. We are staying on the side of very positive and claiming that it did.  Any and all funds will be used to pay medical cost and any costs for future tests and follow up. 
I am doing this to take the burden off Kenny. I want him to not stress about how he will pay for this and be able to focus on getting better. This is the man I am spending the rest of my life loving and between the 2 of us we have 6 kids. He has enough to worry about. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. And Kenny's too.
