Hi All! My name is Dimi, and I am starting this Go Fund Me for my dad, Yianni, who many of you know! He is the kindest, humblest, and most modest human on the planet! He never asks for help, instead, he is the one who is always giving to others. So I'm taking the steps to reach out on his behalf! The past several years have been very difficult and stressful for my dad, having gone through the pandemic living alone, and then losing a loved one last year.

On Sunday March 12th, my dad (age 74) suffered a heart attack, losing consciousness, which also resorted in injuries to his face, breaking his nose and splitting open his upper lip. Luckily he was not home alone, but instead at Costco, surrounded by people, and only 1.5 miles from a cardiac hospital! He was able to receive IMMEDIATE medical attention, which more than likely saved his life!

As some of you may know, my dad lives alone and is a very independent and social person, and has a shop where he enjoys working/restoring vintage sports cars. Even though he loves tinkering with cars, it has also been necessary to supplement his income to cover rent and other essential costs of living expenses since retiring.

The great news is, his Cardiologist has indicated that he will make a full recovery, but will most likely need another procedure in a few months from now to get there! So in the meantime, he will be unable to work.

I am hoping to raise enough money to help alleviate some of his financial obligations (rent payments/utilities) during this recovery process and make the necessary living improvements so he can recover fully with minimal stress!
