I never imagined I would be in a position to ask for help like this, but after an incredibly difficult season of loss, my family and I truly need support.
I am a single mother, and over the past few years, our family has endured multiple devastating losses. Most recently, we lost my beautiful mother, a loss that has left us heartbroken and trying to find our footing while still showing up for our families.
My mom was a fighter in every sense of the word. Even when doctors said the odds were against her, she continued to push through and show incredible strength. She endured a long and difficult medical journey, and despite everything her body went through, she never stopped fighting. Watching someone you love battle for their life changes you forever.
Before she passed, my mother made her wishes clear. She wanted to be cremated and laid to rest in the ocean, her happy place, and placed with our beloved Bobby. Honoring those wishes means everything to me.
My mother was an extraordinary woman. She worked multiple jobs at a time to raise us, always making sure we had what we needed and often going above and beyond so we could have what we wanted. She never missed a birthday, a holiday, or an opportunity to celebrate others. She gave unconditional love, protected us fiercely, and showed me what it means to be both a mother and a best friend.
Over the past several months, I traveled back and forth across Florida while my mom fought so hard, covering long distances for hospital stays and care. Between travel, lodging, food, and daily expenses, the financial burden has grown overwhelming. During this time, I also lost my job and was only able to work part-time.
I am not asking for a large amount—anything helps. All funds raised will go toward:
• Cremation and memorial arrangements
• Travel and remaining expenses from caring for my mother
• A celebration of life to honor her memory and bring loved ones together
We are planning her celebration of life around February 12th, her birthday. She would have been 55 years old. And what a beautiful time to not only celebrate her but her birthday.
This time of year is no longer easy for me, but my priority is making sure my children are supported, protected, and able to grieve in a healthy way. If you are able to help in any capacity through a donation, sharing this page, or keeping us in your prayers—I am deeply grateful.
Thank you for helping us honor a woman who gave everything she had to the people she loved.
With love and gratitude,
Brittany & Family ❤️
