We are heartbroken to announce the sudden passing of our beloved father, husband, brother, and friend, Joseph Blease Alston Jr., who left us unexpectedly on September 15, 2024, at the age of 69. His loss has shaken us deeply, as Joseph, commonly known as Joe, was a man who gave so much of himself to those around him—always supporting, uplifting, and showing up for the people he loved. He was a dedicated family man and a source of strength and guidance for everyone who knew him.

In the wake of his passing, we are coming together to honor his memory and celebrate the incredible impact he made on all of our lives. As this loss was so sudden, we are kindly asking for support in covering the unexpected costs of his memorial services, including the funeral and repass. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help ease the financial burden and allow us to give Joe the beautiful and heartfelt send-off he deserves.
