End-Of-Life Costs for Craig Temby

This fundraiser was organized by friends of Craig and Deb Temby: Team Member Steve Barritt, along with Team Members Nate Wiegel, Dave & Sarah Allen, and Doug Tremelling.

As many of you may know, Craig was diagnosed with stage 2 pancreatic cancer in October 2022. He immediately began treatment and has bravely gone through several rounds of chemotherapy and radiation treatments over the last several months. Scans a few weeks ago revealed that the cancer has spread to his lungs and liver. On June 19th, Craig made the difficult decision to enter hospice care.

In this moment of pain and sadness, we would like to support Craig and his family, and express our gratitude for Craig's impact on so many lives. He has been a passionate teammate and outdoorsman. A creative and inspiring coach, mentor, and science teacher for over 30 years. A devoted son, illustrated by how Craig and Deb cared for both his and her parents through the final chapters of their lives. He has been an endlessly supportive husband, brother, father, and grandfather, including helping raise Craig and Deb's granddaughters (Chloe and Aliya) over these past years.

When you think of Craig, you might think of his mischievous sense of humor, his passion for hobbies like fishing and hunting, or how much he loved recounting stories (especially updates from their cabin in northern Wisconsin, the "Bear Den". However you knew him, he surely brought a smile to your face!

We know that Craig, Deb, and their family have been incredibly grateful for everyone's thoughts, prayers, and generous support throughout his treatment. Your gift to this campaign, however large or small, will continue helping Craig and his family through this difficult next chapter. If you are unable to contribute financially, we would appreciate it if you could show your support towards our goal by sharing the campaign with your friends and family. All donations will be directed to Deb Temby as beneficiary to help the family cover costs of Craig's end-of-life care, cremation, and a memorial service celebrating his life. Any remaining funds raised will go to assist Deb with living costs as she mourns this loss.
