- Hi, my name is Lilly. I got Covid before we even knew it was here, back in January of 2020 when it was its strongest and straight from China. I got long Covid that lasted a very long time. Before Covid there was nothing wrong with me. I was on no medications, had plenty of energy, and was working full time. I finally got over it and was starting to work and get my life back when I started having pain in my foot. The emergency room doctor diagnosed it as gout and sent me home with some pain medication. That misdiagnosis cost me my leg. The pain was caused by Covid caused blood clots. When I went back to the ER, they did more tests and discovered the blood clots. At that point, they told me they could not deal with my medical issues, threw me on a helicopter and airlifted me 4 hours away from my home. I have had 3 surgeries and am waiting on getting a prosthetic leg to be able to walk again before I can go home. I just found out from a neighbor that while I have been gone my house has been invaded by rats. I called my insurance company and found out that damage caused by animals is excluded and is not covered. I need help to fix the damage to my home while I try to get back as much of my life as possible. It has been almost 4 years of hell ever since I got Covid. It has been a downward spiral ever since. I can't seem to get out of it. I didn't cause any of this. I desperately need help to get out of this nightmare! Please help me.
