Please help... My name is Michelle Hernandez, and I live in Fairfax, California.

My 82 year old mother Carolyn Bourgeouis and her husband Bobby survived Hurricane Ida as she tore through Louisiana. Their house did not fare well.

The roof shingles and paper were ripped off by the horrendous winds and the rain has destroyed the inside of the house. This house was built by my grandfather over 60 years ago. It withstood the winds of Hurricane Katrina and other storms but we did not get so lucky this time around.

We need to start with replacing the roof and then we can figure out what to do about the inside. Our goal is to raise 10,000 for a new roof. We are grateful for donations of any amount. Thank you for your kindness.
