Hi, my name is Cameron and this is our beautiful boy Gus.

Gus is a German Shepherd that we rescued at 9 months old and now 5 years on, we are inseparable. He is a massive part of our family.

On Saturday 6/12/25, out of nowhere he became very ill and we almost lost him.

He collapsed and his health deteriorated quickly.

He has picked up a virus/toxin (from contaminated river water) that is attacking his kidneys and since then has had all tests, checks and procedures to figure out what is going on + receiving 24/7 treatment to keep him hydrated and alive.

Between 3 vet stays and treatment this has cost us over $10,000 and the bills keep coming.

I'm not usually the type of person to ask for help (and usually the first person to offer it) but I need help. We need help.

Nothing crazy, just something to keep a roof over our heads while we pay these vet bills and give our beautiful boy Gus the best chance of recovery.
