Hello, my name is Gary Harms and I am fundraising for the medical needs of Steve Weber. I would imagine that if you are reading this, you are either a friend, customer or employer of Steve (or like myself-a friend AND customer) and already know what a great person Steve is so I will get right to the point. Steve's health is continuing to decline and it's time for the many of us who have benefitted from Steve's hard work and/or friendship to help.

Over the years, Steve's many talents have allowed customers/friends to save large amounts of money on needed automotive and household repairs. Steve has also enabled his employers to invoice a tremendous amount of work while his costs were typically below market value. The bottom line is that we have all benefitted from having Steve on our team and he has answered the call for our needs on many occasions. I believe each of us who have saved or profited from Steve's efforts understand how much benefit he has provided.

In order to show our appreciation for his loyalty, now is the time when we need to step-up and do OUR part as Steves "team" to help him with some immediate and urgent medical needs.

As you know, Steve's health has suffered for many years due to his accident. The period of time when Steve was initially hospitalized was prior to much of the blood screening that takes place when you donate today, and he was given blood transfusions that contained Hepatitis C. This was not detected until about ten years ago and is currently causing multiple health issues that need attention NOW.

My hope is that we can all pitch-in and help Steve afford the costly Hep C treatment that can cost upwards of $60,000. It may be his only hope of saving his remaining leg if not his life. As I'm sure you all know, Steve is not one to complain much about his medical issues and he is surely not someone who is comfortable asking for help. I think if we all search down in our hearts, we know how much he has done for all of us and that we need to give back now....with no excuses. As Steve always seems to find a way to make things work....so shall we!

I have set up this account so that Steve will receive all donations directly and will control all withdrawals.
