Hi, my name is Monica, and I’m asking for help for my sweet boy, Loki. This is incredibly hard for me to write, but I’m running out of options and I want to do everything I can to save him.

Loki has struggled with urinary blockages and UTIs in the past, and unfortunately, he’s dealing with it again. Right now, he is actively passing blood and is in obvious pain. His condition has reached the point where his vets are recommending a perineal urethrostomy (PU) surgery, which is a life-saving procedure for cats with recurring blockages.

Over the past 2 years, I’ve already spent over $4,000 on emergency vet visits, catheterizations, medications, and hospital stays trying to keep him stable. I never hesitated, because Loki isn’t “just a cat” — he’s my baby boy. He’s been with me through some of the hardest moments of my life and is truly part of my family.

Now, with a baby of my own, emergency costs like this are much harder to manage on my own. As much as it hurts to ask, I simply can’t afford this surgery without help — and without it, Loki’s condition will continue to return and put his life at risk.

All funds raised will go directly toward:

• PU surgery

• Emergency and follow-up veterinary care

• Medications and recovery costs
