Help Sharon pay for medical fees

Hi. My name is Helen, I have decided to create this GoFundMe page to raise funds for Sharon’s emergency surgery. Sharon has been in excruciating pain, has not
been able to walk and has had trouble lifting her legs.
Recently she was diagnosed with herniated discs and spinal stenosis.
In recent weeks the condition became far worse. After multiple ambulance calls,
they took her to the hospital.
Unfortunately the hospital did not have the expertise to deal with this condition.
The hospital had to liaise with King’s hospital in London whose spinal specialist
was able to look at her MRI. It took many attempts to do the MRI as Sharon could not lie down. The spinal specialist told her it is a life altering condition. 
Her spinal cord is being crushed and the compression on the spinal nerves is
causing difficulty in lifting her legs. They tried many pain medications but with no relief. She has not been able to lie down and has slept upright in a chair now for almost 3 weeks. The pain is so debilitating that this has affected her daily life. Even moving and turning is extremely painful. The  NHS has said that it would be at least 8 months wait for any surgery unless she looses bladder and bowel control, in which case she would only have 36 hours to rush her in before the nerve dies and she would need a colostomy bag for the rest of her life. After some consultations, they found a spinal surgeon who is able to do the required surgery within one week. This involves shaving the bone on her spine to release the spinal cord pressure. As this is a private facility and the surgery is not being covered by the NHS, there is a significant cost to the procedure.
To ask her to wait 8 months without the ability to lie down and experience non-stop excruciating pain would be torture for any person. Please consider donating to help cover the cost of the surgery. Also, please share this post.
