Marc's Recovery

A couple months ago my Uncle had a pretty serious stroke. He was hospitalized for some time and then moved to 2 different rehab facilities. He has fought hard to learn to walk again with the use of a walker, bring his mind out of that fog and do basic things. He was released from rehab on this past Monday, but will still need to continue with outpatient therapies. Early this morning he was taken by ambulance to Rush Copley Hospital due to his blood sugars dropping below 40. They have admitted him trying to get his sugar stabilized.

 

He cannot catch a break. I am starting this hoping to provide just a little relief to the family. They don't need the added stress of worrying about money. Marc hasn't worked in a couple months obviously and Joy is trying to hold it all together on her pay while taking care of Marc at home. He goes to my grandmother's house during the day as he should not be left home alone yet. He won't be returning to work for a very long time. The hospital and Rehabilitation Facility bills are coming in along with monthly household bills that the two of them tackled together. Doing it on one salary is impossible.
