Fundraiser for the British Heart Foundation

Hi,
I'm Charlie Fountain,
I'm 22 years of age from Poole, Dorset.

I have decided to enter the British virgin London money Marathon taking place on the 3rd of October 2021 this year.

The reasoning behind, why I'm running on behalf of the British Heart Foundation is because this charity is something close to my heart and they have done a lot for my family and I , so I have the greatest respect for the charity and huge admiration for the work and research that they do.
This is all thanks to the generous public who want to give something back and help to plummet money into extensive research to try and help cure heart problems.

My family have suffered massively from heart problems,
My grandad passed away from a heart attack and my Dad has suffered four heart attacks and four strokes, the most severe heart attack being a quadruple bypass in 2010.  The most recent stoke was last year and it was a very worrying time and  without the support and help from the BHF and the NHS, the situation could've been non recoverable and much more problematic than it already was if it wasn't thanks to the wonderful help from the BHF and the remarkable NHS.

In Conclusion,
Heart problems have been a hereditary problem in my family for decades,
 the cause has always helped my family and I and have been there when called upon , therefore I would like to give something back, so please donate generously and help me raise as much money as possible for this wonderful charity.

If you raise:

£50- You'll help power our life saving research, buying vital equipment for the lab, such as test tubes, glassware and pipettes.

£300-  You'll help pay for one day of a project to build new healthy pieces of heart.
New heart tissue could be used in the future to treat heart failure.

£2,000- You'll help fund a research programme led by an up-and- coming scientist, in a busy lab and with their own group of young researchers for a week.
