Camp Revolution www.camprevolution.org is a unique opportunity for special needs and differently-abled teens and young adults to have an amazing summer camp experience. Our campers do not always have the opportunity geographically or financially to attend a summer camp where everyone is accepted and encouraged to be themselves.
We offer water aerobics, swimming basketball, singing, dancing, sports, arts/crafts, music, science, ecology, and team-building activities. We will be having nightly dances, karaoke, talents shows and campfire sing-a-longs. Each camper will be staying in a Yurt style tent at Alliance Redwoods Conference Grounds in Occidental, CA.
Our board and volunteer staff is comprised of community leaders, parents of special needs children, and life long advocates of community awareness.
The funds we raise will all go directly to offset camp costs, supplies, scholarships for campers, and extra supplies for campers that otherwise they would not be able to attend without.
Our parents have been searching for this exact type of camp where they not only trust the staff f - but are more comfortable having their child experience summer camp locally.
We are so thankful to everyone who shares in our vision to not only bring awareness to the special needs community but to give each camper a voice, empowerment, memories, and friendships to last a lifetime.
Help spread the word!
