Outside The Lines Practicum Project

Hi, we are Outside The Lines Productions, a 4th year production group in RTA Sport Media at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson).

We are producing a 20-25 minute documentary entitled Shift Maker, a biography of Brock McGillis, the first openly gay professional hockey player. He has since retired from the sport, but continues to work around the game, speaking to young hockey teams and other organizations on the importance of inclusion, fighting against homophobia and creating a shift in the hockey community. We want to make a story that resonates with young 2SLGBTQ+ youth and motivates everyone who watches to be the change in the sports community that McGillis is striving for!

In order to do so, we would love your help to help us with equipment, travel, and other costs associated with our final school project.
