Homeless during covid 19

Our life has been kind of hard since December 2018 when a fire took everything we owned. Coming back from this fire has been the hardest thing I've ever had to do and I was almost their till covid-19 hit. I was turning our life around and getting my kids back on solid ground. Covid-19 came like a hurricane to my family. Tearing my family apart. We tried to stay together but in 2020 we are scattered. My family consists of four children and four adults. However now we're split up all over the city and it seems impossible to get us back together. I'm currently with my five children in a shelter. My mother is residing in a retirement home or rehabilitation center as you want to call it. Since December 1st 2018 we've lived in a circle of craziness. Well our credit isn't perfect it's not the worst however we are constantly in a circle of we make too little or too much for programs to help us. It seems together we make too much an apart we make too little. All I want is to get our family back together completely. To have our own home again. However the available help always seems to be just toys and clothes which I do not understand why give the homeless toys and clothes when they don't have a place to put them. After a fire that took everything I moved us around a bit till we got a house and then we eventually lost the house and had to stay with relatives due to covid-19. Now that we are in a shelter thinking that I was going to be able to get help to find a house we've been in the system since September with no new news of any housing available yet.  Plus again we're in the same circle of we make too much together and too little apart. To top everything off my daughter contracted covid-19 and now we are quarantined during Christmas. I'm starting to lose hope and ever having our family completely back together again.
