Helping a family in need

Hi, I'm Melanie Bradley. Tina and Jimmy Huddle are two of the most giving people I know. I recently found out that Tina once emptied their freezer to feed a family that was without groceries. She has also been known to carry sandwiches to homeless. Tina has raised many children that were not her own and is currently raising a 6-month-old and 6-year-old that are also my Grandchildren.

The last year has been very hard for them. Jimmy has a serious heart condition that has worsened and is inoperable. His ability to work has been greatly reduced. His medical expenses have increased significantly. Tina also deals with some chronic illnesses.

I was able to visit them recently and realized they don't have a car that's running, their hot water heater has been broken for a month (she is boiling water to be able to bathe the girls) and for the first time in 27 years they have fallen behind on their mortgage payment. They are very good and very proud people. During my visit, I asked Tina if she would allow me to set this up to allow others to help them. It took ALOT of convincing for her to agree. While generously giving to others is very natural to her she finds it very difficult to accept help.

I have personally witnessed what a giving and caring community I am surrounded by, and I am humbly asking for you to please find it in your heart to help this family if you are able. If you are unable to help financially, please lift them and prayer.
