Hello! My name is Nicole. I am asking for help to pay for my dog’s emergency surgery. On Wednesday April 10th I took him to the emergency vet and they requested that I came back the following day for ultrasound and X-ray of his abdomen. He was misdiagnosed so I ended up taking him to a different vet in Colorado on April 14th because I knew something was not right. They found that Hunter’s spleen ruptured and he was experiencing internal bleeding due to a possible cancerous mass. I decided to go through with surgery, as he needed to have his Spleen removed and a blood transfusion. He stayed in the ER for a little over 24 hours to make sure that he was stable before going home. Hunter is now home and resting. Hunter has the biggest heart in the world, he loves to play fetch, paddle board, go on long walks, swim and much more. I am currently getting my doctorate in Occupational Therapy and cannot work while I am in the program due to the difficulty of the program. Hunter is my best friend, anything will help us through this horrible situation. Thank you so much.
