Wars are not always fought on a battlefield in far away lands.

Sometimes wars are fought within ourselves; where every day is a battle to attempt to walk away from an internal war...
A war that should have never been declared to begin with.

We are so proud of Jimmy for finally accepting help, and recently completing an intensive heroin rehabilitation program.

Jimmy fought hard. Jimmy came out a new man, and for the first time began working on healing himself. Jimmy had a new perspective and tasted life, substance free. For the first time , those that knew him could hear in his voice a true desire to get well.

Recovery is a journey that does not happen when one walks out the doors of a rehabilitation program.  Many relapse, recover, and relapse again.

When Jimmy relapsed, his body could take no more.

On Friday night, 8 January we all lost someone incredibly special in our lives.  Our hearts  have a huge gaping hole that will never be the same in a world without Jimmy in it.
 
We find comfort in knowing that he no longer has to wake up everyday and try and fight his demons.

We will miss his laugh, amazing work ethic,  jokes, spirit, kindness, personality, and loyalty.  He loved his family more than anything! He is gone too soon!

He was SO much more than his addiction! 

There are so many great memories we all will cherish.  So many good times.  His  beautiful spirit will carry on in our hearts.  Forever.

His tired soul is now free.

We love  you Jimmy!

Our objective with this account will be to raise enough money to help those living in the region of MA Jim lived in, struggling with addiction to heroin on his/her road to recovery -- and share Jim's journey.

We will celebrate Jimmy's life by helping others.
