Mary Kohlhaas is the youth director at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca and is the former youth director at the Church of St. Paul in Ham Lake.
Mary has been dealing with Guillain-Barre syndrome since May. Due to her illness she has racked up thousands of $ in out-of-pocket medical expenses that she cannot afford. The medical bills have cost her sleep, and peace of mind.
I worked with Mary extensively in the youth ministry at St. Pauls. She commanded the respect of the teenagers like noone I had ever seen. She is a good and jolly soul who was dedicated to the teens and willingly gave of herself again and again to her parish.
I am asking those who were touched by Mary's minstry or who's kids were touched by her ministry to chip in and help cover her medical bills.
