Jerry and Jenn Leonhardt are a hard working couple with 5 kids – Wyatt - 19 – Walker - 16 – Weston 14 –Warryck – 12 and Zayleah -7.   Jenn has a home day care business and Jerry works as a carpet layer for a local furniture store.  The Leonhardt family has always been involved in the community with Youth Hockey, The Chamber of Commerce and various Parent and youth groups. Jenn especially is always raising money for these causes and volunteering whenever asked.

In 2009 they received news that Jerry at the age of 33 had colo-rectal cancer. Their lives changed forever. For the last six years life revolved around doctor's appointments, Chemo, radiation, surgery-permanent colon resection, remission and IT'S BACK! Their family has lived by the motto: IF YOU DON'T GET A MIRACLE – BE ONE!

Well now we are asking for your help. The Leonhardt Family got the news from the doctors that there is no more that they can do. Jerry is home now and unable to work. Jerry's wish is to add on to their two bedroom – one bathroom home to make it a little easier on Jenn and the kids. He would like to build an extra bedroom and bathroom on the main floor. Estimated costs for this will be 25,000. There are already several family and friends that have committed to the labor part. Now we need to move ahead and try to raise the money for the materials.
