ሂወተይ ድማ ኣብ ዓረብያ (wheelchair) ኮይነ ክመርሕ ድሕሪ ምጽናሕ፥ ኣብ ዝሓለፈ ዓመት ብዝተገብረለይ መርመራ ክልቲአን ኮላሊተይ ካብ ጥቅሚ ወጻኢ ከም ዝኾና ተሓቢሩኒ፥፥ ብድሕሪኡ ኣብ ኦሮታ ሆስፒታል ክእለ እኳ እንተጀመርኩ፥ ጸገመካ ካብ ዓቅምና ወጻኢ እዩ ኣብ ደገ ኬድካ ክትሕከም ኣለካ ተባሂለ፥፥ ቤተሰብን የዕሩኽትን ብዝገበሩለይ ሓገዝ ድማ ናብ ሃገረ ግብጺ መጺአ፥፥

ኣብ ሃገረ ግብጺ ኩነታተይ ካልእ መፍትሒ ክርከበሉ ስለዘይተኻእለ ሂወትካ ክድሕን ኩሊት ኽቕየረልካ ኣለዎ ተባሂልኒ፥፥ እንተኾነ ግን ን ኩሊት ምቅያር ዝኸውን ዓቅሚ ስለ ዘይብለይ ብህጹጽ ዓዓቕምኹም ክትሕጉዙኒ ብትሕትና ይሓትት፥፥

ንሂወተይ ኣብ ምድሓን ንእትገብሩለይ ደገፍን ምትብባዕን ፈጣሪ ብዕጻፌት ይመልኣልኩም ይብል ክቡራት ኣሕዋተይ፥፥

My name is Idris Shek Ahmed (Wedi Shek). I'm an Eritrean war veteran. Tragically, I suffered spinal cord injuries during the 1999 war, which left me with limited mobility. Now, I face another battle where both of my kidneys have failed.

After receiving initial treatment at Orota Hospital, I was advised to seek specialized care abroad. Due to the support of my family and friends, I was able to travel to Egypt for treatment. However, I've been told that a kidney transplant is my only hope going forward.

Unfortunately, the cost of a kidney transplant is far beyond my means. As a proud member of the Eritrean Association of People with Disabilities, I've always believed in the power of our community. Today, I humbly ask for your help. Any contribution you can make, no matter how small, will make an impact towards saving my life.
