UCONN Dog Pound Challenge

Sigma Alpha is a professional agricultural sorority that promotes women is agriculture through leadership, scholarship, service and fellowship. As sisters of Sigma Alpha we actively engage with our communities on a local and nationwide spectrum to increase advocacy and awareness within environmental resources.

As an annual tradition, Sigma Alpha is partnering with the UConn volleyball team as part of the UConn Dog Pound Challenge. All funds will be donated to the Wings of Freedom Animal Rescue in support of their efforts in recuing animals in need.

More information about Wings of Freedom Animal Rescue: We are a 501(c)3 non-profit Connecticut-based grass-roots volunteer organization who work diligently to be the voice of those animals in need. Our primary area of concentration is the southern New England states and we are dedicated to helping local animals in this area. We are always willing to help animals in need anywhere and often reach out to help sister rescues as well.
