Cealia Gagnon is the epitome of strength and resilience. Anyone who has worked with her—or is lucky enough to call her a friend—knows how extraordinary she is.

Cealia or C-Mama as her friends affectionately call her, has had a challenging health history that is pervasive to this day.

In her late 20s, Cealia bravely fought Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Though she won that battle, the chemotherapy left lasting effects, leading to seven surgeries and a double hip replacement by age 46.

This year has brought unexpected health challenges for Cealia. On August 29th, Cealia faced the first of two invasive spinal surgeries to prevent inevitable paralysis caused by severe spine deterioration—an issue unrelated to her earlier treatments.

Because of her medical history, she must wait 150 days before she is eligible for long-term disability. As a result, Cealia will go without income for nearly five months, adding financial stress to an already overwhelming situation.

For years, Cealia has always been the first to lead countless charity drives, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars and supporting anyone in need. Now it’s our turn to support her and her family. This isn’t charity—it’s gratitude for every time she’s been there to lift up others.
