This has been something we haven't shared a ton publicly but after trying for a year to get pregnant with no success we ended up being diagnosed with severe male factor infertility last fall. For the past year, following our diagnosis, we've been seeing specialists, getting blood tests, taking exotic medications, and really praying for a miracle. As it turns out, IVF is our only option if we ever hope to get pregnant. We need you guys to be that miracle.
It seems like the right thing to do would be to convince you that we'd be good parents and give our kid a loving home. The truth is, if you know us, you know all we want in life is to be parents and raise a family. We're going to love the hell out of this kid.
Laura is young and healthy which gives us an advantage but she only has half the number of available eggs the doc would expect for someone her age. The good news is male factor infertility has less of an impact on IVF statistics. So with IVF, we have a fighting chance. The hard part is, and that's why we're here, the financial cost is very heavy.
It's hard to ask for help, but we have learned over the years how powerful and amazing community is. And for us, if there was ever a time to ask, it's now.
We're doing everything we can on our own to come up with the money but we need a miracle. We need you guys. Please, help us have a baby.

We've received so much kindness and generosity from everyone. We are so thankful to have you in our lives and with us on this journey! We've got some great news. There has been even more generosity through other avenues outside of GoFundMe as well selling whatever isn't tied down so that has helped us make up almost half of our $40,000 goal. We've updated the goal here to better reflect where we are at because we only want to ask for what we absolutely need! Love you guys.

Guys we've made it! We've continued working as hard as we can behind the scenes to fund raise and between that and GoFundMe, we've managed to meet our goal! We are so grateful for everyone and your unbelievable generosity. We hope that this marks the beginning of the end in the journey towards us getting pregnant! All I can say is thank you. From the bottoms of our heart.
