Hi all, my name is ahmad assaad and I made this fundraiser on the behalf of little Lama and her family.

Lama is 1 and a half years old, and is currently battling bone marrow cancer. She started chemotherapy last August, and unfortunately the treatment was unsuccessful.

Lama is in desperate need of a bone marrow transplant, in order to give her a fighting chance at survival.

Unfortunately for Lama, Lebanon requires payment upfront from the families prior to any life saving surgeries. Little Lama’s surgery will cost $100,000 USD.

Imagine, as a parent receiving the most heartbreaking news that your child has cancer. Then imagine using all the money you had to pay for chemotherapy, only for it to be unsuccessful. Imagine watching your little girl, fighting to live, fighting through each round of chemotherapy only to be hit with the anguishing news that a surgery is required.

Then imagine the heartache as a mother and father knowing you don’t have the money to save your child. Imagine everyday that passes, waking up looking at your 1.5 year old child, knowing the days are slowly fading away. Imagine knowing that it was simply money, that was the barrier for your daughter’s health and chance at survival.

I ask everyone, to firstly appreciate the fact that we are blessed in Australia, our children are blessed and are provided with free healthcare, especially in life changing situations like this.

Then I ask you all, for the sake of Allah (God), for the sake of little Lama, and her family, to consider donating. There is no better cause, than to help give this little princess a chance at surviving. A chance at life, that is currently at risk of ending before she even had a chance to live.

Any amount will help, no amount is too big or too small, and all amounts will be appreciated beyond what words could explain.
