Help Lisa Fight Breast Cancer

Hello! My name is Stephanie (Giordani) Crawford and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my best friend Lisa (Lesa Hathaway) Haefner. Lisa was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer this summer and has undergone 2 major surgeries. The funds raised will go towards her medical bills, transportation, meals and any other hardships while undergoing her treatments.

Tomorrow she will have her 5th out of 8 bi-weekly chemotherapy treatments at Dartmouth Cancer Center in Lebanon, NH. After this is completed, she will then have to drive an hour each way to her Radiation therapy. Radiation will be given 5 days a week for 5 to 6 weeks. After this treatment plan, she will be re-evaluated.

Last week she received a very large bill, I am sure the first of many. That's when I realized I needed to do something to help her. Lisa has helped countless others by raising funds and volunteering. These are just some of the ones I can remember. She has walked for The North Shore Cancer WALK in Salem, Mass for many years. She has done wellness checks on the elderly and volunteered more than 20 times for Haven From Hunger in Peabody, Mass.

Lisa also has raised money and walked for AFSP.org's (American Foundation for Suicide Prevention) "Out of the Darkness" in memory of her Father and her brother Kevin. She has delivered food for people in need, helped with food chains and ride shares. She has even given haircuts for free to the needy. Most recently after retiring and moving to Bradford, Vt she cooked, prepared and delivered meals for 15-25 Veterans at the Home Shelter for Veterans until she got sick.

Many of us that know and love Lisa understand she is a GIVER. She is not the type of person who would take anything from another. That's why I am asking for your help. She would never ask!!! Please consider helping Lisa in her time of need.
