Hi there! One of my dearest friends, Maddox, is getting top surgery in exactly one month (July 21st)! Everything was set to go with insurance and costs...and then the American healthcare system struck: Maddy's partner lost their job. So they both were left scrambling for health insurance and concerned about the money they’ll need to cover what insurance won’t pay for.

 

That's where you come in! If you can donate to help cover some of the unexpected costs, that will help with surgery, recovery, and everyone's peace of mind over medical bills.

 

Maddox and I have been friends for almost 10 years now. Over that decade, he has helped me and countless others with his kindness, generosity, and friendship. Maddox is currently studying at Fordham University to get his MSW. He is passionate about LGBTQIA youth and providing resources for the queer community. He will be the most affirming, wonderful therapist and is already an incredible, kind, and caring friend. He is funny and has the best (and most recognizable) laugh in the whole world. If you know Maddox, you know that he would much rather be helping others than being the one receiving help. Help Maddox receive the gender-affirming care that he deserves.
