Tara's Medical Mission Trip

Donation protected
I have been given the opportunity to give back in a big way. I found out this week that I was one of 10 students chosen to join Woodland Church of Plover on a medical mission trip to Sumpango Guatemala. We will be making this journey in January 2016.

I will be going with the other students as well as licensed doctors and nurses for a week to set up a clinic and give aid to those in need of medical attention.

The city of Sumpango is approximately 35,000 residents with one full time doctor. Most do not have transportation so medical help isn't accessible.

We will be staying in an orphanage;where we will be fed and have a bed to sleep in.

I have been very blessed in my life and look at this opportunity as a way to give back. I do not take asking for money lightly. I am incredibly grateful to all that support me in this journey. Whether that be through thoughts and prayers, or financially.

I have the blog below for anyone that would like to follow us during our trip. We will begin blogging once the trip begins in January.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. And thank you so much for your support.
