Hi I'm Amy and I am fundraising for a breast reduction surgery.

I have a giant hernia which impacts my life daily. The hernia surgery would be major complex surgery which comes with a lot of scary risks, which doctors have warned could make my situation worse, which is why I'm not having it fixed. But after speaking to doctors, a breast reduction is something that would greatly improve posture, mobility, my quality of life and take significant pressure off my body and the hernia itself.

Having a large hernia and large heavy breasts, I worry about having back issues and I want to take as many precautions I can to avoid serious back issues. Having a breast reduction would alleviate some of this strain. This surgery is routine and doesn't carry as many risks like the hernia surgery would.

This surgery isn’t something I can afford on my own, so I’ve started a GoFundMe to help cover the cost of the surgery and any surgery related costs e.g. blood test, preoperative breast scan.
