The Baladi Bunch
Donation protected
The Baladi Bunch, are four Egyptian street dogs, waiting for their chance to Come to the US and Canada, and new lives. WE URGENTLY NEED YOUR HELP to get them out before the extreme summer heat arrives, as most airlines refuse dogs once temperatures soar.
Hope and Hero have been waiting so long. They were originally meant to travel with Annie, a paraplegic, but sadly, she passed away soon after rescue.
Hope and Hero, both tripods, will have two new flight companions. Goldie And Brownie, who have recently come into care. Goldie was in the streets with a litter of newborn puppies, when we started looking for a safe place to send the whole family, but before we could move them, the puppies started wandering, contracted distemper, and passed away. Goldie who likely has immunity and did not get sick, watched each of her babies die, and be taken away for burial. When she was finally able to go to foster, we were told that she had a friend, Brownie, who was always with her. We could not leave him behind after we saw the photos of them together. These two are now safe in foster, and are receiving more socialization.
These beautiful Baladis have a great rescue in the US waiting for them. After a harsh life in the streets of Cairo, these four are each ready to experience having a family.
We cannot get these dogs out of Cairo without your help. Hope and Hero were already partly funded, but we still need $1600. Canadian (about $1200. USD) to cover all four dogs costs.
All dogs are spayed and neutered, fully vaccinated, and will be blood tested. They just need help with travel costs.
PLEASE share, and donate if you are able. EVERY dollar counts!
Thank you from the dogs and The Laika Fund.
