Medical Bills
Donation protected
I’m 20 years old and was diagnosed with Myeloma years ago which has never seemed real. Myeloma is a cancer of plasma cells within bone marrow. I’m one of the youngest ever receiving treatment and have recently decided it was time to stop ignoring it. I have existing medical bills that I keep pretending aren’t real from blood transfusions, different treatments, and ER trips.
I would like to prepare myself for a stem-cell transplant and to stop worrying about medical bills so I can still be 20 and focus on going to school or living.
We’re all living through an extremely difficult time and there’s nothing that could have prepared me for being immunocompromised while living in a pandemic.
There’s no right way to do any of this, but your help is greatly appreciated.
