My mother in law Annette Najvar is no stranger to the breast cancer journey. In 2009 she was diagnosed with grade 0 breast cancer in her right breast. She received a lumpectomy and radiation. She was thankfully deemed cancer free after 6 weeks!!! After years of clean bill of health she had an abnormal mammogram. Her dr suggested a stereotactic breast biopsy. On Tuesday June 30th she received a call with the results. The radiologist told her she had cancer, again, in her right breast. This time it was grade 2. The worst nightmare a breast cancer survivor could have, she had to fight the hardest fight of her life again. After waiting to see the dr for two days she got the game plan on how she was going to fight cancer! Annette will be receiving a double mastectomy because of her cancer history. As you can imagine she is not only nervous for her health, but also for the financial burden this will leave on them for the second time. This treatment will take not only countless Drs appointments, but also the possibility of multiple surgeries and even chemo. Annette would never ask for help, but as her daughter in law I feel obligated to help out as much as I can. This woman is not only the mother of my husband, but the best Omi to my daughter Rocklynn and my soon to be born son. She would do anything and everything to help anyone. It breaks my heart that something so toxic could happen to such a happy healthy person. I've never seen someone so proud to be apart of the survivor community, you will never catch her not wearing pink. She also donates her time and money into multiple breast cancer funds. I'm really asking for more prayers and thoughts her way, but if you can donate anything it would be more than appreciated. Thank you for reading. Please pass this along❤️
