GREG HERRON’S BONE MARROW CANCER

Donation protected

Six months ago my father-in-law was diagnosed with a bone marrow cancer. He was treated unsuccessfully under three separate types of chemo treatment. We have been sent to three separate hospitals in the state of Florida. All three were perplexed by the type of bone marrow cancer. Mayo Clinic said that it is called Multi-Myaloma Subtype (extremely rare) and have only seen it in a patient one other time. For Mayo Clinic who specializes in cancer treatment not to have a solution is very worrisome. He has been in and out of the hospital for treatments. The ongoing treatments have weakened his ability to work and recoup. On January 23rd he has taken a turn for the worse. An ambulance had to come to their home to rush him back to the hospital. Greg, was bleeding internally and has been in ICU since then. A blood transfusion is not an option so healing will be a very slow process. Actually, we are hoping he heals but doctors are not guaranteeing anything.

To make matters worse my mother-in-law came home that night to grab a change of clothes and the living room and kitchen were flooded. Their roof is leaking and living off of social security has limited our resources for all of these problems. Now, their neighbor is tarping the roof and they hope we don’t get another down pour.

If you truly know Greg, you know he is a gentle giant with a heart of gold. Due to his health and roof issues, we are asking friends, family, and the community to help us with our finances.
